A DNAcademy Certified Investor (CI) is a professional who understands all of the principles of domain name investing.
This body of knowledge includes the methodology, tools and language associated with domain name investing and management, and includes a general understanding of regulatory issues, tax implications, and legal issues.

A rigorous set of open-book knowledge assessments are included in each of the Course Content areas listed above.
To be awarded the DNAcademy Certified Investor designation, you must:
- Complete 100% of the course material
- Pass the knowledge assessments with a minimum of 70% proficiency
- Complete at least three full domain name valuation worksheets to the satisfaction of a DNAcademy instructor
You may retake knowledge assessments as many times as you wish; the highest score will be used for proficiency calculations.
Certification may be achieved at your own pace, however, you must have an active DNAcademy membership to display your certification.
Once you have passed the certification requirements, you are awarded the DNAcademy Certified Investor credential. The manual review process by DNAcademy occurs weekly.
A DNAcademy Accelerator Participant has attended the DNAcademy Accelerator program and participated in live discussions, small- and large-group activities, and networking sessions.
The DNAcademy Accelerator Participant credential is it's own designation, it is separate from the DNAcademy Certified Investor certification which includes it's own requirements (see above).

- Attend at least 90% of the live sessions
- Complete homework on time
- Actively participate in learning activities and discussions
You must have an active DNAcademy membership to display your credential.
Once you've passed the requirements, you are awarded the DNAcademy Accelerator Participant credential.
A DNAcademy Brandable Bootcamp Participant has attended the DNAcademy Brandable Bootcamp program and participated in live discussions, small- and large-group activities, and networking sessions.
