Managing your domain name pricing across multiple marketplaces is a pain. Are the prices consistent? Were they listed by a prior owner? Did you make a mistake in pricing? This tool will help you figure it all out.


Hey everyone! My name is Michael Cyger, and I’m the publisher and lead instructor of DNAcademy.

You know that free tool at Ahrefs that allows you to figure out if a domain name has any backlinks that make it more valuable?

I thought that was so cool that I developed a similar tool but for domain name passive sales.

This free, new DNAcademy tool will help ensure that your domains are optimized for passive sales…even if you’re not a DNAcademy member. The tool is free.

The Passive Sales Checker is perfect for finding:
👉 Price discrepancies between Afternic, Sedo and Dan
👉 Underpriced domains where you might be “leaving money on the table”
👉 Incorrectly priced domain names set by previous owners

Or, if you’re interested in buying — this tool can help you find:
👉 The lowest price available for buying a domain

Here’s how it works.

Visit A popup will ask you for a domain name and you’ll verify a captcha.

Then our system will determine the sales status, BIN price, minimum price, and even monthly lease amount for the domain name at it’s landing page and on Afternic, Sedo and Dan.

If a domain name is not listed on a marketplace, it will be indicated with a “Not Listed” badge.

If a domain name is listed on a marketplace, it will show either a “Buy it Now” or “Make Offer” badge.

And if any of the prices between the landing page and marketplaces has more than a 20% pricing discrepancy, it will alert you with a red dot.

This Passive Sales Checker tool is in beta, so if you find any bugs please scroll to the bottom of the page, click the “Contact Us” link, and send us an email. Be sure to include the domain name so we can reproduce your issue to see the bug.

And if you’ve ever set your pricing incorrectly, sold a domain name for less than you anticipated, or left old pricing up on your domain names from years ago and you want a recurring analysis of your portfolio for a nominal fee, put your email address in the “Priority Notification” checkbox. We might be developing a tool in the future if investors are interested.
